Practice in Charcoal, 2004

In High School, my professor challenged me to use a resource image and create a charcoal masterpiece using organic charcoal, charcoal pencil, and brushes on art paper. I will always remember how quickly her face came to life with my hands. Finishing this successfully drawing encouraged me to pursue an art degree of some sort.
