Ike's is a new bar and & grill restaurant that will re-ignite an established restaurant location that lost its brand. Ike is the nickname of the owner and it inspired me to use an anthropomorphic style for the custom-designed typeface. I've always felt as though bar and grills in business logos tended to feel old, unclean, and tired. That is why I used a bold, modern color scheme, along with a combination of the classic grid and casual shapes, to create a relaxed, fresh, and fun restaurant feel that can grow with the success of this business.
