This was a project where I was tasked to create a logo and complementary icons for this fictional eco-friendly clothing and beauty company and department store. When we think of nature and eco-friendly items we will always turn to green, I knew it couldn't be a primary green color but I wanted the green to be chill, fun, and bright. I knew the other colors that provide the same vibe. I challenged myself to create a leaf-looking shirt and then outline the image with some suggestive lines for definition and again to create a fun, chill vibe. I knew the icons needed to incorporate the leaf as well and so I had a lot of fun illustrating the lipstick, shoes, and chemical icons for use in the different departments of the shop. The O'Yes typeface is hand drawn with the intent of having natural fun, and new lines to enhance the vibe. The secondary typeface was chosen to compliment the overall design and enhance the readability of the logo.
