In High School, my professor challenged me to use watercolor as a medium. I used my favorite colors purple, yellow, and green, and referenced a photo my professor took on the streets of Jerusalem. I applied the watercolor in different sizes circles or spots to create values of light and shadow. This technique created a spotted texture. The end result is a peaceful, colorful, idealized dreamy streetscape.
