Ike is the owner's nickname, which inspired me to use an anthropomorphic style for the custom-designed typeface. I've always felt that bar and grill logos tended to skew one way, so I used a bold, modern color scheme, a classic grid, and casual shapes to create a relaxed, fresh, and fun restaurant logo idea.
